"This picture (below) was taken in August 1994 in the PWL studio/booth where
the Calrec Soundfield microphone is located. A friend and I
stand on each side of Pete Waterman, and we're both holding a guitar which Pete
said were the only two guitars to appear on any SAW record, from
"Never Gonna Give You Up" onwards. He also said that when Matt Aitken
left, he told him that he couldn't have the guitars because they meant
a lot to him!"

"The pic below is of Mike Stock and me taken on the same day as the
one with Pete. Helen Dann was so kind and phoned up Pitstop at Love This
and asked if I could come by and say hi. It was ok, so I went there and
waited for about 15 minutes in the reception. I spent the time looking
at all the gold discs on the wall and having a drink of water. I was
nervous! A moment later Pitstop came down and said Mike was ready to see
me, so I went upstairs and saw Mike sitting at a big table, with several
people around it, obviously in a meeting of some sorts. But he took a
break and talked to me for 5 or 10 minutes and for that I'll always be
greatful. This was at the time when Mike was setting up Love This, so he
was no doubt very busy. So to take out time to meet a goofy fan, is
something I'll always be thankful for."
