"I wrote a letter to Pete telling him how I appreciated the music from
SAW. He invited me to come see the studios. Some time later I had to
opportunity to do so. The following includes pictures from the visit
and text from my travel journal."
Nov 15
"... I also called PWL. Helen Dann, Pete's assistant was not in so I left a message, probably with
the teaboy, Rick Astley II ..."
Nov 16
"... I called PWL and was put on hold for about 10 minutes waiting for Helen Dann. They play
SAW music when you're on hold (Ed.-what else?) ... I talked to Helen and we arranged to meet on
Thursday at 2:30-3:00. She seems like a very nice lady ..."

"I went in and on the right side of the room, records filled the walls. Gold and silver (Ed.- and
platinum?) ... Dean showed me around and I was allowed to take pictures. The rooms were small
but nice. Records were on the walls everywhere. I didn't realize that P. Waterman owned PWL
& All Boy's Music & PAL Productions AND Loose End Productions. (Ed.-I have some Nik
Kershaw stuff) ... (Dean) took me to the other building where they do the mastering for the vinyl
and CD. When I was there I saw Dave Ford in one of the studios. At the end of the tour the
secretary gave me a package (envelope) of records ... new releases and limited editions.
I asked if I could meet Pete but she said he had gone for lunch ... Before I left he came in and I
saw him and he saw me. He had glasses and his hair was silver ... The secretary asked him to sign
this book for me before I left."
"It was a great trip and over time, with what has transpired with SAW
and PWL, I appreciate it more and more."
