80s star Astley plans comeback
IT is the news music fans have dreaded - Rick Astley is making a
comeback.
The red-haired teaboy-turned millionaire has decided to unleash his
talents on us once again.
He is to release a remixed version of his 1987 No 1 Never Gonna Give You
Up in the new year so a whole new generation can sample its joys. And
then Rick promises he will follow up with some new tracks.
The reclusive star has been secretly working at his London studio on the
new songs, including a weepy ballad.

Rick, 32, packed in pop in the early Nineties because he couldn't handle
the fame.
Now it seems he wants to have anotehr taste of the big time.
It's not because he needs the money. His fortune is estimated at around
£10million and he lives in a mansion in Richmond, Surrey.
Rick, who has sold more than 15 MILLION albums worldwide, chalked
up seven Top Ten hits and four albums in Eighties soul.
He disappeared from the limelight to settle down with Danish girlfriend Lene Bausager and daughter Emilie, now six.
