PWL Buys Libra For Manchester Studio
Pete Waterman's PWL has purchased an AMS Neve Libra digital mixing console.
Scheduled for delivery this month, the 48 fader desk will be installed
in The Pulpit (Studio One) at The Church, Manchester.
Pete Waterman explains, "When I first saw Libra, I thought this is the
one for me.
"The reputation of AMS Neve goes without saying. As for the desk
itself - ergonomically, it is superb. It looks like a serious piece of
kit. What's more, it does the job and doesn't complicate things.
Waterman continues, "We wanted to update the studio to all digital and
we did look at another desk but at the end of the day, Libra was the
clear winner.
"Probably the most crucial concern of all is that it enables us to offer
a well balanced price to our customers. We can offer them the latest
technology at a reasonable rate."
The refurbished Pulpit will be primarily used for Pete Waterman's
clients but will also be available for external bookings.
